The Yorkton bid for the Saskatchewan Roughrider's 'Riderville' is officially underway. Things got off to an early start Monday morning with a pancake breakfast and different events/activities will follow all through the week. Among the highlights are an appearance by Rider mascot Gainer the Gopher, a Rider Museum at the Army/Navy Veterans Club Wednesday through Friday, the Jordan Matechuk Football Camp at Century Field on Saturday at 9a.m, and the Rider Pa-ride (not a typo) which will take place on Broadway St., Also, the Saskatchewan Roughrider cheerleading group will be in Yorkton on Saturday.
