YORKTON - The Parkland Pirates were in action Thursday hosting the Yorkton Marlins on the big field at Jubilee Park in the city.
The Southeast Senior Baseball League game finished under the lights as the Marlins tripled up on the Pirates 9-3.
Jordan Bieber went five innings for the Pirates, with Benny Walchuk going one and two thirds and Nick Malakoff finishing the game.
The Marlins used a five-run second inning to build toward the victory.
Tanner Nesbitt picked up the win on the hill for the Marlins while Montana Johnson earned the save.
Up next for the Pirates is a visit from the Canora Supers on Monday, a game scheduled for Pirie Field in Melville.
The Marlins host Roblin at Jubilee Park tonight (Friday) at 8 p.m.
