The Yorkton Yankees put a tough loss behind them to come back and claim the South East Senior Baseball League championship trophy with a 7-4 win over the Willowbrook Royals in Willowbrook in Game 4.

Yorkton won the best of five series 3-1. The fourth game presented Willowbrook with a unique opportunity to put the Yankees back on their heels completely and possibly force a fifth game back in Yorkton. Jeremy Johnson opened the scoring with a solo shot that gave the Yankees a 1-0 lead right off the hop. However, the Royals came back to tie and then would go on to take a 3-1 lead.In the visitors' half of the third inning, the Yankees were able to do what the Royals had done in Game 3 and that's drive runners home, six times to go ahead 7-3. Yorkton's bullpen then opted to put Logan Calanchie out on the mound for the final two innings of play to nail the victory and the title.

Yorkton won games in the series by scores of 8-0, 5-4 and 7-4. Game 3 was the only setback.
