YORKTON - Yorkton is playing host to three days of 13U AA Tier 3 Provincial baseball action.
The provincial event being held at the JayCee Beach diamonds began Friday and will wrap up crowning a provincial champion Sunday.
Teams competing in Pool ‘A’ include the Yorkton Cardinals, Langenburg Miners, Battlefords Beavers and Shellbrook Knights.
The Grenfell Gems, Sask Five Bombers, Esterhazy Cyclones and Meadow Lake Sox are battling it out in Pool ‘B’.
The local Cardinals would go winless in three games, and miss the playoffs.
The semi finals Sunday Sask 5 topped Langenburg, while Battlefords defeated Grenfell.
In the gold medal game Sunday it was the Battleford Beavers over Sask 5 Bombers 9-3.
