DONAVON - A sizable turnout for the third annual Donavon Field Day saw that tried and true Saskatchewan mindset on display:
It doesn't matter how small the town is; just put on the event and it'll draw like flies to honey.
Held on Saturday, June 22 in the hamlet of Donavon, located south of Delisle just off of Highway 45, the day saw ball games played, youngsters having a blast and working off some energy in the Kids Zone, and even a vendor market where people could have a look at some unique items on display.
As well, the Classic Car & Tractor Show n' Shine, which starting this year added the vintage tractor category, also attracted a high number of eyeballs.
