Husband announces candidacy for Outlook mayor position

OUTLOOK - One of the Town of Outlook's current councillors has decided to throw his name into the mayoral race this fall.

Ryan Husband is proud to announce his candidacy for Mayor of Outlook in the upcoming municipal election. With a deep-rooted commitment to hard work, dedication, and a genuine care for the people of Outlook, Husband is ready to lead the community into a new chapter of growth and opportunity.

"The people of Outlook are honest, hard working, passionate, thoughtful folks and I am committed to upholding these values as we move forward together," said Husband. "I want to ensure that residents feel heard, cared for, and that their contributions to our town are valued."

Since moving here in 2013, Husband has been involved in many aspects of the community including being a councillor, a member of the fire department and serving on various boards. His focus is on addressing key priorities, such as improving infrastructure, supporting seniors, strengthening businesses, and creating a town where seniors, families, and young people alike can thrive.

In the weeks leading up to the election on November 13, Husband will be engaging with residents to hear their thoughts, concerns, and ideas for the future of Outlook. He is committed to being a mayor who is approachable, accountable, and deeply invested in the well-being of the community.

A little about Ryan:

Ryan recently began working as the Executive Director of Irrigation Saskatchewan. He has a decade of experience as an Ag Water Management Engineer. Along with being on council for the last 4 years, he’s helped with various community projects including the Fire Hall Fundraising Campaign, the Irrigation Museum and the Disc Golf Course.
