OUTLOOK - The town of Outlook was buzzing with sports activity over November 15 & 16 as LCBI High School was playing host to 2A Girls Provincial Volleyball, with games held on the courts at both LCBI and the neighboring Outlook High School.

Welcoming teams from Moose Jaw, Wakaw, Wadena, Wilkie, Ituna, Kinistino, Langham, Gravelbourg and Davidson, the ten teams taking part were split into Pool A and Pool B, with 'A' games played at LCBI and 'B' games played at OHS.

The games started at noon on Friday, with Moose Jaw and Wakaw squaring off at LCBI while Langham and Gravelbourg played at OHS. The end result of those games saw Moose Jaw and Gravelbourg victorious, meaning they would advance throughout the weekend.

The hometown Lady Bisons' first game was later on Friday afternoon against Wakaw, and the visiting squad ended up besting the hosting Outlook team in sets of 25-17 and 25-9. LCBI would play again later that afternoon against Wadena and the visitors were once again the winners in sets of 25-20 and 26-24.

On Saturday morning, LCBI found themselves up against Wilkie on the court at OHS, where they were defeated in sets of 25-22 and 25-14. The final game for the Lady Bisons would be later that morning against Moose Jaw, where the visiting team bested them in sets of 25-19 and 25-16.

In the final game of the provincial tournament, it came down to Wakaw and Langham, and when all was said and done, it was the roster from Wakaw who left Outlook provincial champions as they defeated Langham in sets of 25-14 and 25-20.
