OUTLOOK - The Outlook & District Regional Park was once again lit up with all kinds of Christmas cheer.
The fifth annual Winter Wonderland event down in the popular destination's campground area provided a feast for the eyes over 11 nights.
The event began on Friday, December 13 with two nights of walk-through events, including Saturday, before the drive-thru portion began on Sunday, December 15. A total of 36 spots were decorated to the nines with all kinds of creative, eye-catching holiday displays by local businesses, organizations and schools, making Outlook a must-visit community to see the festivities up close and personal.
Donations were being collected at the park gate, all of which go right back into the park for future operations and community events.
Handouts issued at the gate not only provided info on the names associated with each campsite, but further info highlights events happening in the park, including the community being asked to provide input and support to putting "something cool in the pool" in relation to the old swimming pool location, as well as promotion for a summertime cabaret event in July.
