OUTLOOK - As far as local events were concerned during the holiday season, the riverside community of Outlook may as well have been called the Christmas Capital of Canada.
The Equinox Theatre performance group in town delighted many patrons when they created and hosted 'A Celebration of Christmas', a special walk-thru holiday experience that ran at the Civic Centre over three nights from December 12-14.
Admission was by donation at the door, which will support live theatre in the community, and the all-new event enveloped visitors as soon as they stepped through the doors.
Featuring eye-catching stations and displays such as Victorian Christmas, A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Night of the Nativity, Comfort and Joy - A Handmade Christmas, North Pole Retreat, Candyland Christmas, Christmas Heritage, and Santa's Village, the entire layout of the Civic Centre was transformed into a festive feast for the eyes and gave people something remarkable to remember this year's Christmas season.
