OUTLOOK - The youngest and brightest hockey, flag football, and softball players in the riverside community were spotlighted on Friday, April 11.

At the Jim Kook Rec Plex, the Outlook Amateur Sports organization held a recognition night of their kid athletes, highlighting some of the best moments on the ice and the field in the past year, and looking to what lays ahead as ball seasons are looming with the arrival of spring.

Guests enjoyed a steak supper before OAS President Aaron Williams took to the podium, welcoming everyone and even managing to crack smiles and a few giggles from young athletes with his comic timing courtesy of a few classic dad jokes.

In turn, this made the coaches proud of what the youngsters were able to accomplish both on the diamond and out on the ice.
