A meeting will be held in the Bounty Theatre on June 4 to try and reboot the organization.

OUTLOOK - One of Outlook's more interesting and unique community groups that unfortunately disbanded a few years ago is looking to reboot itself and start fresh with some new faces.

The victim of the Covid-19 pandemic, which did a number on many community-based volunteer groups and projects basically everywhere around the province, the Outlook & District Multicultural Group is now trying to start anew and is looking for anyone interested in joining up.

The group's mission statement is "Recognizing the cultural diversity of our community, fostering awareness, interaction, respect, and providing a welcoming place for newcomers." A number of people are being sought for roles in the group, which needs committee members, a chairperson, vice chair, a secretary/treasurer, and members at large.

Those who may be interested in joining the group are being asked to attend a meeting on Tuesday, June 4 at the Bounty Theatre starting at 7:00 pm.
