YORKTON - People in Yorkton woke up hungry Saturday morning.

Taking advantage of the fine November weather more than 500 of the hungry residents converged on the fire hall for a pancake breakfast – it no doubt helped attract people that Santa was on-hand for photos too.

The breakfast was the kick-off of a day of festive activities in the city leading up to the Legacy Co-op Santa Claus Parade organized by YBID, the Yorkton Exhibition and the local Chamber of Commerce.
