YORKTON - The Dementia Friendly Life Enrichment Program recently received a contribution from Yorkton’s local Re/Max Blue Chip Realty.

“Working with Sask Abilities is always an easy decision for our company as they continuously do amazing things in our community. The Dementia Program is no different as it has been developed solely by the staff at the Yorkton Branch and serves a part of our community that effects many families but often times get overlooked,” said Rob Kozak, President and General Manager of Re/Max Blue Chip Realty in a submitted release.

The $10,000 was given to ensure the valuable program continues to be available.

“We are grateful to Re/Max Blue Chip Realty for their generous donation of $10,000 to support our Dementia Friendly Life Enrichment Program. Their kindness and contribution will help us to continue to serve individuals diagnosed with dementia and their care partners in Yorkton and surrounding communities” explained Aleks Hoeber, Regional Director.

The Dementia Friendly Life Enrichment Program provides individualized and group services to individuals living with dementia and their care partners. This is the only program that serves people living with dementia and their care partners in rural Saskatchewan, Yorkton and surrounding communities, with in-person programming.
