Forge FC teams see weekend action

YORKTON - Forge FC teams in various divisions were in Prairie Soccer League action on the weekend.

The Forge FC U15 boys hosted ASTRA Soccer Academy Saturday, with the teams playing to a 1-1 tie.

Drew Jepsen scored for the home side, while Coen LaClare scored for the visitors.

Sunday the U15 Forge faced Saskatoon Alliance Black, dropping the contest on the Parkland Mall pitch 2-0.

Yossi MacMillan and Ethan Omitayo scored for Saskatoon.

The U15 Forge travel July 6, to face the FCR BlueStars, then stay on the road to face QC United July 7.

The Forge FC U17 Girls also played at home on the weekend.

Saturday it was the FCR BlueStars that met the Forge.

The BlueStars came out on top of a 4-2 contest.

Forge FC had goals by Sienna Nimubona and Kianna Johnson, while Teslynn Gramchuk scored two for the visitors, with Autumn Oke and Navy Louma adding the singles.

Sunday Queen City United was in Yorkton, but results were not posted by print time.

July 6 the U17 team will be on the road to play Saskatoon Alliance, and the QC United July 7.

The U13 Boys hosted FCR BlueStars at the Logan Green pitch Saturday with the teams playing to a scoreless tie.

The U13 Forge then played QC United Saturday. The teams played to a 0-0 score.

Sunday ASTRA Soccer Academy was at the Logan Green pitch, but resulted were not posted by deadline.
