MELVILLE – A homicide involving a firearm occurred in Melville, according to a Dangerous Person Alert issued at 10:35 am this morning.
There are believed to be two suspects involved, but descriptions and whereabouts are unknown according to the alert.
A vehicle that may be involved was located east of Melville on Highway 10 near Duff.
The alert cautions the public to not pick up hitchhikers and be cautious of someone asking for a ride.
RCMP are responding and request the public remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police and to call 911 in emergencies.
