YORKTON – Legacy Co-op announced the recipients of their upcoming Fuel Good Day slated for Sept. 17.
The funds raised from this year's Fuel Good Day will go towards four recipients in the Parkland, including,
- Accent on Kids Early Learning and Childcare Centra Inc.
- Society For the Involvement of Good Neighbours (SIGN) Kamsack
- Churchbridge Minor Ball
- Theodore Volunteer Firefighters Association
"Pump it up" donation opportunities will be available for customers to donate without purchasing fuel, as well as barbecues held at each location with all proceeds going to the participating organization.
When you fill up your tank on Sept. 17 at Yorkton Palliser Way, Yorkton West Broadway, Kamsack, Churchbridge or Theodore gas bars, Legacy Co-op will donate 10 cents from every litre of fuel sold to the participating organizations.
The annual event is held at over 400 Co-op gas bars throughout Canada in support of a local community organization or initiative.
