YORKTON — A well-known Yorkton agri-business has gone into receivership.

Leon’s Manufacturing and Ramrod Equipment locked their doors Tuesday afternoon.

GX94 News has learned Ernst and Young out of Edmonton will be the receiver.

The decision puts about 80 people out of work.

Leon’s was born in Bankend, Sask., in 1952.

It built farm implements like dozer blades and front-end loaders.

Ramrod Equipment built items like skid steer loader attachments.
