YORKTON - As the holiday season draws near, I want to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude and warmest wishes with each and every one of you.

Christmas is a time of joy, love, and reflection. It’s a season that reminds us of the power of kindness, compassion, and unity. For those who celebrate the birth of Christ, it is a time to cherish the profound message of hope and peace that Christmas brings. It is also a time to gather with family and friends, creating memories that warm our lives through the cold winter months.

Yet, beyond faith and tradition, this season holds something for all of us. It is an opportunity to reflect on the blessings we share as a community and to extend a helping hand to those in need. Whether it’s sharing a meal, offering a kind word, or simply taking time to connect with those around us, we embody the spirit of the season when we care for one another.

As your Mayor, I am continually inspired by the generosity and resilience of our community. This year, let us celebrate the things that bring us together, the values of inclusion, respect, and shared purpose that make Yorkton such a special place to call home.

May your holiday season be filled with warmth, laughter, and the love of those who matter most. May we all step into the New Year with renewed hope, ready to face the future together with courage and optimism.

From my family to yours, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a joyful New Year!
