Estevan wins in OT in SJHL action against Yorkton Friday

YORKTON - The Yorkton Terriers were in Estevan Friday, and it would take extra time before a winner was determined in the SJHL encounter.

Jacob Hufty started things to extend the Bruin lead to 2-0.

A powerplay effort from Carter Briltz and an even-strength goal by David Coyle 58-seconds apart tied things 2-2.

Tate Schofer on the powerplay at 7:01 tied things, eventually sending the game to overtime.

It would be a man-advantage goal by Ewan Rennie 3:18 into extra time which gave the Bruins a 5-4 home ice win.

Ethan Farrow took the loss in the Terrier net facing 43-shots, while Luke Norman faced 40 in earning the win for the Bruins.
