Henrikson honoured
Before the drop of the puck Friday Terrier Tylan Henrikson was announced as the team’s 2024-25 SJHL RBC Community Ambassador.
RBC Community Ambassadors are recognized for making a difference and giving back to the communities where they play, notes the SJHL website. Each Ambassador is celebrated at an RBC Game Night and is honoured by a donation from RBC to a school in their local community.
In Henrikson’s case he chose the Foam Lake Elementary School as recipient of the $1,000.
According to the Terriers, the Foam Lake, SK. native has “has committed hundreds of hours off the ice. Helping Minor Hockey teams with training and coaching, supporting fundraising clubs, promoting the Terriers and the SJHL through league sponsored programs, like Tim Hortons Smile cookie initiatives and Timbits hockey,” detailed the league site.
“Tylan has the ability to impact other people and be somebody that others want to emulate. He is a passionate, selfless and humble young man that always put others before himself.”
