Yorkton This Week

The Yorkton company, along with Leon Manufacturing, went into receivership last year after more than 50 years in business.

Support from local businesses, volunteers and contributions from the governments of Canada and Sask made home a reality.

This funding will further advance the completion of the Interpretive Station at the Mill, an essential addition to Saskatchewan’s only remaining brick flour mill and a vital part of Yorkton’s historical landscape.

In Yorkton activities included a spinning demonstration, knitting, candle-making, board games and a cozy reading corner, as well as refreshments.

After Regionals the Mixed team qualified for SHSAA Provincials in Unity.

The talented nine-year-old has secured her spot at the National Youth 5-Pin Bowling Championships, set to take place in Edmonton, Alta, from May 5-7.

This project will be funded from the 2025 Capital Budget as approved.

Grand entries were held all three days, with a host drum selected daily.

Each caucus will elect a chair, which becomes the representative on the SUMA Board of Directors.

Proceeds from the event would go to support the Columbia School Student Exchange.
