SASKATOON – Saturday marks 36 years since 36-year-old Robin Peter Ermine was shot to death in the city’s west end and police are renewing their request for tips.
On Aug. 12, 1987, Saskatoon police were called to Ermine’s home in the 700 block of Avenue I South. When police arrived, they found Ermine deceased from a gunshot wound.
“Although decades have passed, no one has been charged in the homicide, but the file remains open,” said Saskatoon police in a media release Friday.
Investigators with the Major Crime Section are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect(s) in Ermine’s homicide Ermine. Though current details are limited, someone knows something, say police.
“We ask people to come forward with any information that could help police solve this case and bring closure to the friends and family of Robin Peter Ermine.”
Please call the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 with information about this case.
