HUMBOLDT – Police are searching for two suspects after getting a report of a firearm being pointed at a group of people travelling in a vehicle. The vehicle is described as a black, full-size SUV, possibly a Cadillac Escalade or a GMC Yukon.
Humboldt RCMP say that on April 21 at approximately 8:20 p.m., they received a complaint about the incident. Their investigation determined three people were in a vehicle travelling on 9th Street in Humboldt when an SUV pulled in front of it, stopped and the occupants got out and approached the victims’ vehicle.
The victims drove away. The SUV began to follow them as they travelled on Highway 5 towards Muenster. They turned around and passed the SUV, which had stopped. A male occupant of the SUV pointed a firearm at them. The victims continued driving to a safe location and informed police of the incident. No injuries were reported to police.
Humboldt RCMP have been investigating since and are now asking members of the public to report any information about this incident.
One suspect is described as a tall Caucasian male with a slim build, wearing all black. The second is described as a tall Caucasian male with a beard, with a slim build, wearing all black.
