LA LOCHE - La Loche RCMP say missing person Nathan Piche has been located deceased.

On Feb. 19, RCMP said Piche's next of kin have been notified and their thoughts were with his family and friends during this difficult time.

The Saskatchewan RCMP is investigating in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.

RCMP had issued a release Feb. 14 asking for the public's help locating Piche, saying his family and police wanted to confirm his well-being.

Nathan Piche was last seen walking in the Garson Lake area in the late evening of Feb. 12. Officers have been working to locate him since and are now asking the public for assistance.

Officers asked residents that live in the Garson Lake area to check their properties, particularly outbuildings, for any signs of Nathan Piche and/or clothing or items that seem out of place.

RCMP have issued a thank you to the media and the public for their assistance.
