LA RONGE – Police are asking the public to help identify this sketch of a suspect in an assault on Vickers Crescent in Air Ronge on Aug. 19.
At about 2:30 a.m. La Ronge RCMP got a report of the assault and their investigation determined that a man broke into a home and assaulted a woman before fleeing. The victim was treated in hospital for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Officers immediately responded and began patrolling for the suspect, who is described as in his mid 20s, approximately 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-3 with a medium build. He has dark-coloured hair and dark, bushy eyebrows. He was wearing a black hoodie at the time of the assault.
