NIPAWIN – A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was shot while walking on a street in Nipawin early Monday morning.
On Dec. 11, at approximately 3 a.m., Nipawin RCMP received a report of a shooting. Police say the man was approached by two males and there was an altercation before he was shot.
The suspects are described as having slim builds, and were wearing all black.
Nipawin RCMP continue to investigate. They ask anyone who captured video surveillance in the area of 3rd Ave. W., near 2nd St. W. and 3rd St. W. in Nipawin around 3 a.m. on Dec. 11 to contact them.

The investigation continues and investigators determine if an imminent risk to public safety exists, they will notify the public.
