Nicole Laurin identified as Prince Albert homicide victim

PRINCE ALBERT – Police have identified 37-year-old Nicole Lisa Laurin as the city’s fourth homicide victim of 2023.

Prince Albert police found her suffering from serious injuries after responding to a weapons complaint at a home in the 300 Block of 13th Street East at about 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 6. When they arrived, they found Laurin suffering from serious injuries. She was taken to Victoria Hospital by Parkland Ambulance where she later died from her injuries.

Laurin left behind two children, according to her obituary. She was born in Sisk Lake, Manitoba.

A 31-year-old woman was also seriously injured in the same incident. She was in hospital in stable condition, say police.

Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) Criminal Investigation Division, Crime Reduction Team and Forensic Identification Section continue to investigate.
