PRINCE ALBERT – A 68-year-old Prince Albert man facing sexual assault, sexual interference, committing an indecent act, and three child porn offences is seeking bail.
Brian Hilary Campeau was arrested in June. He has a show cause hearing scheduled for July 21 in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
Campeau was arrested after Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit, or Sask. ICE, and Prince Albert Police Child Protection Unit raided a home in Prince Albert on June 14 and seized several electronic devices.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
