Police continue search for prisoner who escaped from Sask. Penitentiary

PRINCE ALBERT - Update: Police have renewed their request to the public for information on Brian Patrick Aubichon who is unlawfully at large. 

Original story - Police are searching for an inmate who escaped from the Minimum Security Unit at Saskatchewan Penitentiary. 

Prince Albert RCMP say that at about 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, they were notified of an escaped prisoner from the Sask. Penitentiary Riverbend Institution. Brian Patrick Aubichon walked away from the minimum security unit and is considered unlawfully at large. 

Aubichon is currently serving a sentence of four years, four months, and nine days for robbery.

He is 24, five foot eight and 146 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair and is First Nations. 

Aubichon is known to frequent the Prince Albert, Saskatoon, and Meadow Lake areas. 

Contact your local police agency immediately if you know of his whereabouts. Police say don't approach him.
