Saskatoon grocery store robbed at gunpoint

Saskatoon police believe the same male may be responsible for another robbery on Nov. 4.

SASKATOON – A grocery store was robbed by a man armed with a firearm on Monday. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, say Saskatoon police who are now investigating.

Just after 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 18, patrol officers responded to a report that a man had entered a grocery store in the 1100 block of 11th Street West and pointed a firearm at staff before fleeing with the cash. No one was physically injured during the incident.

Police believe the same male may be responsible for another robbery on Nov. 4. The suspect was reportedly armed with both a firearm and bear spray in this incident.

From the most recent robbery, the suspect was last seen wearing a black ‘Co-op’ jacket, jeans, black shoes, a black toque, and a black face mask.
