SASKATOON – A jury trial has been scheduled for September 2024 in Saskatoon Court of King's Bench for a Saskatoon man accused of killing his wife. He is charged with second-degree murder.

Derek Caron was arrested after police found a woman’s body off of 11th Street west of Saskatoon a few kilometres from Highway 7. Saskatoon Police say they went to the area around 4 a.m. on Feb. 7 after getting a call about suspicious activity.

Derek Caron’s Facebook page says he and Jessica Caron were married. Court documents show that he lived on Avenue S South in Saskatoon.
