Saskatoon police charge man, youth, with attempted robbery with firearm

An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth were arrested after a firearm was pointed in an attempted robbery.

At around 2 a.m. on Feb. 2, Saskatoon Police Service officers were called to the area of 19th Street West and Avenue W South for a report of an attempted robbery involving a firearm.

SASKATOON – Police have arrested an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth after a firearm was pointed in an attempted robbery.

At around 2 a.m. on Feb. 2, Saskatoon Police Service officers were called to the area of 19th Street West and Avenue W South for a report of an attempted robbery involving a firearm.

Police located a vehicle of interest with three people inside and found an imitation firearm in the vehicle. They identified two of the three suspects and charged them with attempted armed robbery and pointing a firearm.
