Saskatoon police Guns and Gang Unit seizes loaded, sawed-off firearm

A 25-year-old woman and 29-year-old man from Saskatoon are facing firearms-related charges.

When the Saskatoon police Guns and Gangs unit executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Avenue I South they found a loaded .22 calibre sawed-off firearm, various rounds of ammunition, and a high-capacity magazine.

SASKATOON – A 25-year-old woman and 29-year-old man from Saskatoon, are facing firearms-related charges after an investigation by Saskatoon Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit.

On Dec. 19, when the Saskatoon police Guns and Gangs unit executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Avenue I South they found a loaded .22 calibre sawed-off firearm, various rounds of ammunition, and a high-capacity magazine.

They both face several additional weapons-related charges.
