Saskatoon police investigate city's ninth homicide of 2024

Witnesses reported that an altercation had taken place outside another residence on the block.

SASKATOON – Police have ruled the death of a 30-year-old man as a homicide. He is the city’s ninth homicide victim of 2024.

Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit investigated after patrol officers were called to a home on Chandler Place for an unknown problem at about 4 a.m. on April 15. When they arrived, officers discovered the 30-year-old man. He was unresponsive and rushed to hospital.
