SASKATOON – Saskatoon Police Service Tactical Support Unit helped arrest a male who was believed to have a firearm.
Police say that on Feb. 1 at 4:46 pm, they were called to the 3000 block of Arlington Ave. for a report of a male in possession of a possible firearm.
Patrol officers attended and were able to identify an exact address the male had entered. The area was secured and members from the Tactical Support Unit were called to assist. The subject exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident.
The male was arrested for various criminal code charges, as well as outstanding warrants. Police say he will be held for court in the morning.
