A shooting inside a Meadow Lake home Tuesday night may be gang-related say police.

MEADOW LAKE - Shots fired inside a home in Meadow Lake Tuesday night may be gang-related, say RCMP.

On Feb. 14, shortly after 10 p.m., Meadow Lake RCMP responded to a report of a firearm discharged at a residence on the 0-100 block of Clark Crescent in Meadow Lake.

Police officers responded and conducted patrols in the area and no suspects were located. Multiple holes inside and outside the residence were located by investigating officers, consistent with a shooting occurring. No one inside the residence reported any injuries to police.

It was reported a black truck was in the area at the time the shooting occurred. A black truck was reported abandoned on 6th Avenue East in Meadow Lake around 4:30 a.m. Feb. 15. Investigators believe this truck is connected to the incident on Clark Crescent. The police investigation is ongoing.
