SASKATOON – A garage fire that caused about $30,000 in damages is suspicious and Saskatoon Police Service is following up, says the Saskatoon Fire Department.
At about 2:38 a.m. on June 5, three fire engines, one ladder truck, one rescue unit and the Battalion Chief responded to the garage fire in the 300 Block of Avenue J South.
The fire was brought under control at 2:48 a.m. and the SFD's Fire Investigator asked Saskatoon Police Service Investigator to investigate.
SFD say that the fire originated in the interior of the garage.
There were no injuries as a result of this fire.
