Police had been called to the business at about 1:07 a.m. on April 21 for a report of an assault in progress. Patrol members attended and learned four staff members had been assaulted and the suspects had fled.

Parkland Ambulance attended and treated two victims at the scene and took two additional victims to the Victoria Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say, from their investigation, it’s believed a group of people had been denied entry to the business and when staff attempted to escort the group out, they were assaulted.
