INDIAN HEAD – An act of vandalism over the weekend has police reaching out to the public for information.
Sometime between June 2 and 3, the ball diamonds in Jimmy Robison Field were targeted.
"One of the dugouts wa extensively spray painted by vandals," said RCMP in a crime watch advisory. "It has since been cleaned up by volunteers from the community after many hours of elbow grease."
Indian Head RCMP say silver spray paint was used in the act, and are asking anyone with information to contact them at (306) 695-5200. Crime Stoppers is another resource that can be used to report at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
"Also, if you see anybody with silver paint on their hands, fingernails, clothing or shoes - that person is probably a good suspect," noted Sgt. Ryan Case.
