Woman crashes SUV into city truck & another SUV at high rate of speed

After an altercation at a gas station, the woman got into a Dodge Nitro and fled the scene at a high rate of speed before crashing her vehicle.

The woman was later released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

SASKATOON -  A 41-year-old Debden woman has been charged with assault, dangerous driving and obstruction after crashing into a City of Saskatoon flat deck truck and a Dodge Journey Tuesday morning.

Saskatoon police say that they got a call about 9:15 a.m. that a man and woman were involved in an altercation at a gas station at 20th Street West and Avenue P South. The woman they got into a Dodge Nitro and fled the scene at a high rate of speed before crashing her vehicle. No one was seriously injured, say police.

The woman was later released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
