Woman wanted by police gets bail, then skips bail

RCMP are searching for 23-year-old Celine Charles of La Ronge, again.

LA RONGE – A woman who was wanted for almost two months following an incident where police were shot at was granted bail and is now wanted, again.

Celine Charles, 23, was scheduled back in court June 12 but failed to appear. She is charged with obstruction.

Charles, along with Terrance Daigneault, 29, Allan Sanderson, 36, and Nikeyta Bradfield, 24, were all charged in connection to the June 19, 2022, shooting incident that prompted the communities of La Ronge, Lac La Ronge, and Air Ronge to go into lockdown.

Daigenault allegedly shot at police officers and a police vehicle. Bullets struck the cruiser’s windshield and radiator. No RCMP officers were injured during this incident and no other injuries have been reported to police.
