SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - Daryl Harrison of the Saskatchewan Party will be the MLA for Cannington for a second term.

With all 40 polling stations reporting from the southeast riding, Harrison received 6,034 votes of the 8,188 votes cast, or 73.6 per cent of the popular vote. Dianne Twietmeyer of the Saskatchewan NDP was second with 1,058 votes, followed by Michelle Krieger of the Buffalo Party (540), Barbara Helfrick of the Saskatchewan United Party (420) and Natalie Lund-Clysdale of the Green Party (196).

Harrison was first elected to the legislature in 2020. 

Cannington has been represented by a Progressive Conservative or Sask. Party candidate since the riding was formed in 1975.
