HUMBOLDT - The Humboldt & District Chamber of Commerce has announced two upcoming all-candidates forums, providing an opportunity for community members to engage with candidates in provincial and municipal elections.

The Provincial Candidate Forum will be on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion. This forum will feature candidates sharing their ideas in a moderated Q&A format, allowing for community questions.

Each candidate will have one minute for an opening statement and two minutes for a closing statement. To ensure a fair discussion, timekeepers will provide signals during the forum.

The Municipal Candidate Forum will be held on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion. Similar to the provincial forum, this event will provide candidates with a platform to present their views and respond to questions from the public.

Both forums will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person, ensuring all community members can access this vital dialogue. “We encourage everyone to mark their calendars and participate in shaping the future of our community,” said the Humboldt Chamber of Commerce.
