NORTH – Jordan McPhail will be the SaskNDP candidate for the Cumberland constituency for the 2024 provincial election

McPhail, if elected, will fight to keep former long-time NDP Cumberland MLA Doyle Vermette’s seat, he says.

Jordan McPhail was born and raised in La Ronge. He continues to be proud community leader, father, and husband. McPhail has served as town councillor for seven years including: chairperson for the Regional Fire Department, board member of community organizations, and various committees within Council bringing needed change an advocacy for his community.

McPhail says he is politically engaged because he understands that a strong Northern New Democrat will bring healthcare, opportunity, and respect to Northern Saskatchewan. He says he is excited to continue the work that Doyle Vermette has championed for 16 years.
