Patrick Messer 1966 - 2014 It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick Paul Messer announces his unexpected passing at his home in Estevan, SK on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the age of 47 years. Pat is survived by his son Jaxon of Regina, SK; step sons, Travis of Estevan and Mason of Weyburn, SK; parents, Matt and Margaret Messer of Midale, SK; brothers, Matt Messer (Kim Massett) of Estevan (children Tyler, Nicole and Becky, and her daughter Melanie), William Messer of Pangman, SK (daughter Miranda) and Chris Messer of Midale, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Jerome Messer in 1962. A Prayer Service was held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. The Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Gerry Bauche. Those so wishing may make donations to a charity of choice in Pat's memory. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Thank You We, the family of Pat Messer would like to extend a very special thank you to friends, family and community for all the support that we have received during this extremely difficult time. The phone calls, visits, flowers, food and donations in Pat's memory were very much appreciated. Special thanks to Doug Third for officiating the Prayer Service and Fr. Gerry Bauche for celebrating the Funeral Mass. The attendance at Pat's funeral was overwhelming - it was very comforting to be surrounded by such a large group of Pat's friends and extended family. Thanks to the organist, choir and CWL ladies for providing the luncheon. Everyone's kindness is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.
