Greetings from Los Angeles. Google Cloud has unveiled a new artificial intelligence-powered search tool that consolidates data from clinical notes, scanned documents, and electronic health records. This will help healthcare professionals retrieve relevant information more efficiently, and could alleviate some of the administrative burden on physicians.

The tool will be integrated into Google's Vertex AI Search platform, and it is currently being tested by Mayo Clinic and Highmark Health. Google says Google Cloud ensures compliance with HIPAA and does not access or use customer data to train its models.
