Highway 1 westbound lanes closed due to semi fire near Indian Head

INDIAN HEAD - Highway 1 westbound lanes are reported to be closed due to a semi fire near Indian Head.

On Aug. 22 at 1:17 a.m., Indian Head RCMP responded to a report of a semi-trailer fire in the westbound lanes of Highway 1, approximately 10 kilometres west of Indian Head.

No injuries have been reported to police, however the westbound lanes of Highway 1 have been closed as emergency personnel respond.

Motorists should expect delays.

Drivers are asked to slow down as they approach the area, and follow the directions of emergency personnel on the scene.
