ICE unit makes arrests in Regina

Two separate cases this week of individuals charged with child pornography

Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit made arrests in two separate investigations this week.

REGINA - The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit has laid charges in two separate instances involving individuals in Regina.

On Wednesday, Sept, 27, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit conducted a search warrant at a home in Regina where electronic devices were seized pursuant to the investigation.

As a result, Jason Wiley of Regina is charged with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of luring a child under 14 years. Wiley was released on numerous conditions until his next court appearance on November 6, 2023, at 9:30 a.m..

In another case, on Sept. 28 Saskatchewan ICE Unit and Moose Jaw Police Service conducted a search warrant at a home in Regina where electronic devices were seized.

Alexander Love, 36, of Regina was charged with one count of possession of child pornography. Love was released on numerous conditions until his next court appearance Nov. 6 at 9:30 a.m..
