REGINA — TeleMiracle has announced the national cast of hosts and performers that will guide viewers through 20 hours of making miracles happen once again across Saskatchewan, during TeleMiracle 48.

This annual Saskatchewan tradition will return on Feb. 24-25, broadcast live across Saskatchewan on the CTV network and live-streamed at telemiracle.com.
“TeleMiracle has been rooted in Saskatchewan for 48 years”, says TeleMiracle 48 volunteer chair Tyler Hall.
“We are proud that this year’s national cast also has strong Saskatchewan roots. And Saskatchewan talent remains a backbone of TeleMiracle’s entertainment and fundraising.”
Tyler Hall is a second-generation TeleMiracle chair – his mother Lorrie Hall and his late father Keith Hall were Co-Chairs of TeleMiracle 32. This year’s national cast also features a second generation, as singer-songwriter Luc Johner joins the cast as a solo performer for the first time, joining his father Brad Johner, who will be hosting TeleMiracle for the 27th year.
Dozens of talented Saskatchewan performers, from every corner of the province, will be showcased. The telethon will also feature impact stories from Saskatchewan people who have benefitted through the generosity of TeleMiracle donors.
In addition to Brad Johner, TeleMiracle 48 includes veteran hosts Beverley Mahood, Jeffery Straker, Jill Straker, Lisa Franks and the return of the TeleMiracle House Band (Sheldon Corbett, Jack Semple, Dave Chabot, Don Griffith and Glenn Ens). New cast members this year all hail from Saskatchewan:
- Dione Taylor – “prairie blues” artist, born and raised in Regina
- Jay Semko – vocalist and bassist for The Northern Pikes, from Saskatoon
- Teagan Littlechief – SCMA Indigenous Artist of the Year, from White Bear First Nations
- Luc Johner – Ssinger, songwriter, pianist and photographer, part of the Johner Boys
- Also joining the national cast is Sabeen Ahmad of CTV Regina
Entering its 48th annual telethon, TeleMiracle has raised over $159 million for the people of Saskatchewan. Donors can still “ring those phones” and call in their pledge during the telethon broadcast or donate online year-round at www.telemiracle.com.
The event begins Saturday, Feb. 24 at 6:15 p.m. with “Countdown to TeleMiracle” which is live-streamed at www.telemiracle.com. The live broadcast begins at 9 p.m. across the CTV Saskatchewan network (and at www.telemiracle.com) concluding Sunday, Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. with the reveal of the final telethon total.
Even though the telethon is a few months away, Hall says the need for TeleMiracle donations is seen daily.
