RCMP Report – March 5 - 11
Unity Report
RCMP received a complaint of fraud but it was unfounded.
A 49-year-old male from the Unity area was charged with breaking, entering and committing and mischief and a 42-year-old male from Luseland was charged with breaking, entering and committing after Members received a complaint of a break and enter at an oil site.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.
Members attended the sudden death of a 75-year-old male from the Unity area. The death was not suspicious in nature.
RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint who was transported by a family member to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.
CN Police reported a train blocking a railway crossing. Reported for information purposes.
RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.
Members acted as mediators in a family dispute.
Police acted as mediators in a dispute between two adults.
A 49-year-old male from the Unity area was charged with fail to comply with release order condition after members located him breaching a condition of a release order.
There were also two false alarms.
Wilkie Report
RCMP received a complaint of fraud but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Police received a complaint of a bottle of liquor located on the road. Members disposed of the alcohol.
A 55-year-old male from Wilkie was charged with possession of property obtained by crime after members received a report of an individual in possession of stolen property.
Members are investigating a complaint of theft.
Macklin Report
RCMP acted as mediators in a family dispute.
Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision in Macklin. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a request to assist Provost RCMP in locating an individual.
RCMP received a complaint of an individual not complying with a release order condition but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Police received a report of a stolen licence plate but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Members received a complaint of a hit and run causing damage to a vehicle but there was insufficient evidence to proceed. Reported for insurance purposes.
RCMP are investigating a complaint of an individual tampering with business equipment.

Unity Report
RCMP received a complaint of fraud but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.
RCMP received another Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.
A 72-hour roadside suspension was issued during a traffic stop.
Members received a complaint of disturbing the peace. RCMP transported the subject of complaint to cells to be lodged until sober.
Police received a complaint of an individual with unauthorized possession of ammunition. This matter is still under investigation.
RCMP received a complaint of an intoxicated individual in public. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.
There were also three traffic complaints, two false 911 calls and two false alarms.
Wilkie Report
RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.
Police received a report of a single vehicle collision. There were no injuries and no charges were laid.
Members received a report of an unwanted individual at a residence. Reported for information purposes.
RCMP received a report of a suspicious individual at a rural property. This matter is still under investigation.
Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision. There were no injuries. This matter is still under investigation.
There was also one false alarm and one false 911 call.
Macklin Report
RCMP received a complaint of assault. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a noise complaint. This matter is still under investigation.
Police received a request from Edmonton Police Services to obtain a statement from an individual in the detachment area.
RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.
Members received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a business. The individual left the area.
